Alex Lewer – Company Technical Manager

Alex started his career with Theatre Studio, a youth performing arts school based at the Playhouse Theatre in Cheltenham. He has been tutoring on their educational courses for the last 6 years - lighting and producing over 30 shows.

He has worked on a variety of productions including outdoor concerts, military events, musicals and many forms of theatre. Most recently, Alex has lit ‘Murder In the Cathedral’, ‘Godspell’ (Edinburgh Fringe 2003) and a touring production of ‘Return to the Forbidden Planet’ (Edinburgh Fringe 2004), as well as the ‘Dancing With Auntie’ tour for Dreamshed Theatre.

In 1998, Alex formed Hitwave, a creative agency specialising in design strategy and creative solutions for print, new media and live entertainment.

Alex is a member of PLASA (The Professional Lighting and Sound Association).
