Bill Cronshaw originally studied drama at Coventry College of Education and then graduated with a B.Ed degree from Warwick University. His interest in Theatre-in-Education work began in Coventry where the Belgrade Theatre had an innovative education programme. While working in schools, Bill continued to promote his work in theatre and drama, writing and directing productions for Central TV’s educational broadcasting unit and running numerous training courses for teachers. As well as school Headship experience, Bill has also worked in Higher Education and until recently was Head of the Student Development Centre at the University of Gloucestershire where he formed the ‘University of Gloucestershire Actors’ Company’. Bill studied at the London Centre for Theatre Studies and became a professional actor in 2003. He has played a wide range of roles from Badger in ‘Wind in the Willows’, the Dame in ‘Dick Whittington’ to Dysart, the psychiatrist, in ‘Equus’. |
